Each year, the Boles Athletic Booster Club provides scholarships to qualifying BISD senior athletes. If you've participated in Boles ISD Athletics during your senior year, you may qualify for the annual Boles Athletic Booster Club scholarship program. Details are communicated around Spring to all eligible seniors with a submission deadline of May 1.

Who is eligible?

1. Applicant must be graduating senior, attending Boles ISD, and involved in the interscholastic program.
2. Applicant must plan on attending full time (minimum 12 hours) in the fall semester, following high school graduation, of an accredited post-secondary education institution. (i.e.: junior college, community college, 4-year college/university or a trade school).
3. The student athlete's parent/guardian is required to volunteer with the Boles Athletic Booster Club for a minimum of 12 hours during the athlete's Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Year.*
4. Parents must volunteer an additional 4 hours during the athlete's senior year.*
5. Need for financial assistance will be considered. The applicant may receive aid from other scholarship sources.
6. Applicant must submit a copy of their entire four-year high school academic record showing current ranking in the graduating class.
7. Applicant must submit up to a 150 word, typed or hand written, essay explaining what career they want to pursue and why, and how sports has affected their high school years. The applicant must sign the essay.

*Events that qualify for earning hours: working at the Volleyball/Basketball/Football Concession Stand, selling spirit merchandise at sporting events, working as a Boles Athletic Booster Club board member, attending meetings, assist with set up of special events such as homecoming or the annual athletics banquet, provide football meals for the JV or Varsity teams.
